Climatera's brand identity focuses on highlighting the human aspect of climate change. The logomark, with its three successive semicircles, symbolizes the continuum of climate change, illustrating its gradual but persistent impact, reinforcing the idea that addressing climate change is an ongoing journey. A dynamic identity system provides versatility and recognition across various applications, and ensures that Climatera's identity remains cohesive and adaptable to different contexts. The choice of sharp portraits and a focus on people in the imagery reflects Climatera's commitment to telling the stories of those affected by climate change, putting a human face on the issue. The rich and saturated colors, inspired by the environment's palette, convey the vibrancy and urgency of the topic, making Climatera's brand identity visually engaging and emotionally resonant.
The central focus was on adopting a mobile-first approach, ensuring seamless accessibility across diverse devices and screen sizes. Aligning with Climatera's minimalist brand identity, a clean layout emphasized readability and easy navigation. We built that platform using Webflow CMS, which facilitated dynamic content management and allowed for the easy publication of articles, enabling Climatera to stay up-to-date with its reporting. The website's structure was meticulously planned to accommodate an interactive landing page for the soft launch, providing a captivating entry point to the platform. The end result is a visually appealing, responsive, and user-centric website that embodies Climatera's commitment to impactful climate reporting.
